U S. Foreign Policy Outlook After the 2024 Election

Whether you’re looking to lose a game of cornhole or Catan, camp out at J-Tree or hike Baldy, or just need someone to talk to, I’m always happy to hang out. I’m always available to talk, and I look forward to meeting everyone! On campus, I am a part of Ballet Folklorico de Claremont, 5C Pasifika Student Association, the Athenaeum, and CMC EcoReps. On campus, I am involved with the Black Women’s Collective, Scholar Community, and recently started the Claremont Cybersecurity Club. I try to embody hacker culture in everything that I do by finding really creative ways to accomplish different objectives and iterating until the objective is accomplished.

On campus, I am a team lead for SOURCE Nonprofit Consulting, a mentor for Smart Women Securities, and an active member of CMC’s Black Student Association and Black Women’s Collective. On campus, I have been a FYG, an RA for the Lowe Institute, and have taught boxing at Roberts Pavilion. I am an International Relations major and I recently studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. I love being active on campus and building relationships with my peers by learning about their culture, interests, and experiences! In the capstone, teams of four students engage in a data-analysis project for organizations in the public and private sectors. In 2018, George Roberts ‘66 P’93 donated $25 million to expand data science education and computing education. To fulfill the capstone requirement, the major would also require students to participate in a clinic in addition to completing a thesis.

Introducing the 2025-26 RAs!

Following the 2024 election, Claremont McKenna College’s Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies hosted a discussion exploring the impact that a second Trump presidency will have on U.S. foreign relations. By making broad and unfair assumptions about the motives of Trump voters, they make these voters feel alienated. Some others also cmc markets review posited baseless theories on social media that women voted for President Trump because “white women hate black women,” or that minorities voted red because they were chasing the “whiteness they crave.” When my peers struggle to acknowledge women and people of color who prioritized a different issue in this election, they dismiss the concerns of millions of minority voters.

This breath, however shallow it may be, inspires a hunger for the heavenly, a thirst for the transcendent, and a recognition of our incompleteness and ignorance. I love watching movies, hanging out with my friends, traveling, and trying out new foods. I studied abroad in Milan during the spring semester of my junior year and had the time of my life traveling around Europe. In my free time, I love to thrift, listen to music, read, and gab for hours with my friends.

I love volleyball (intramural team?), K-Pop (any Carats?), Greco-Roman mythology, books, blind boxes, and creative mediums like crochet, stamp carving, and painting! Fostering community motivates me as a Romero Success Coach, CPB’s Vice-President of Creative Programming, and as Club Soda’s Co-President! For fun, I love trying new crafting skills — sewing and crocheting are my current favorites.

They’re good people who could work for him though, in New York. And so people—I do think the right’s reaction to Mamdani has been a little hysterical. And I also just think, practically speaking, New York is a huge city. So now they’re rallying to Cuomo with some of them, but I don’t have that much sympathy for that.

I wish they were a little less, you know, tolerant of certain things—on Israel, and so, against Israel and all that. It’s not the first time, and it’s different from the rest of the country.
